Program Structure
Week 1 — The Intensive (3 Days)
Day 1 — Diagnosis, Photography and Foundations
- Case selection and diagnosis: vitality, tooth structure, occlusion, neighboring and opposing space
- Advanced dental photography protocols for clinical documentation
- Adhesive science: introduction to the adhesive era, biomechanics, and shrinkage dynamics
- C.R.E. (Caries Removal Endpoint) principles and bonding generations
- Workshop: specialized rubber dam isolation techniques
Day 2 — Advanced Direct Restorations
- Matrix selection mastery: proximal, axial, and DME
- Cusp capping and fiber reinforcement techniques
- Complex scenarios: back-to-back cases and multi-surface direct build-ups
- FPG protocol: Finishing, Polishing, and Glossing
- Workshop: live demo and hands-on Direct Class II restoration
Day 3 — Indirects and Digital Workflow
- Intensive photography workshop for indirect case documentation
- Prep designs: inlays, onlays, overlays, and veneer-lays using the 5-step preparation protocol
- Exocad design preferences and 3D printing parameters for permanent resins
- Full printing workflow: slicing, nesting, and customized post-processing
- Advanced cementation protocols for various restorative materials
Weeks 2–5 — Clinical Rotation (1 Day Per Week)

- Execute 2 Direct Cases from start to finish
Clinical Day 2
- Execute 2 Indirect Cases from start to finish
Clinical Day 3
- Observe and assist 2 Direct Cases with a colleague
Clinical Day 4
- Observe and assist 2 Indirect Cases with a colleague
- All cases executed using 4-handed dentistry under direct supervision of Dr. Hashem and the H Dental Institute team
